Nzoner's Game Room>Looking for suggestions: BBQ Sauce
Indian Chief 04:28 PM 12-02-2019
A while back someone on CP had recommended Cowtown's Night of the Living Bar-B-Q Sauce. I wish I remembered who had said it because I'd send you a bottle of bourbon. It was suggested as the best bottled BBQ sauce and I agree. I usually make my own sauces, but this really was fantastic.

I had been getting it on amazon, but they want $16 for 2 bottles and I found it on here, https://www.thekansascitybbqstore.com, for half the price. (And they have free shipping until midnight tonight.) Before I pull the trigger on an order, is there anything else on there that you'd recommend trying? I could use some suggestions for stocking stuffers or general gifts. :-)

I figured it out, I had an item in my cart that didn't qualify. Thanks for the heads up, I stocked up on enough to last me a year.

Food threads haven't been pulling the best numbers around here lately, but it's very possible this one could reach over 100+ replies! Good work.

I bought some of the 100% Pain hot sauce too, anyone ever tried it? I've been looking for an easy way to add more heat to my Buffalo Wing sauce, hopefully it'll do the trick.

I live in the San Diego area so finding jack stacks was a challenge. With a little searching Ace hardware has them online $9.59 18oz and other bbq sauces. Just place the order on line and have it delivered to the nearest Ace hardware near you. There will be no shipping charges.

100% Pain is hot but not stupidly hot.

For sauces I like American Stockyard Original Pitmaster, Bash Bros Honey Jalapeno and all 3 varieties of Three Little Pigs. These are all pretty sweet sauces.
Pain is Good brand heat levels are pretty consistent in regards to ghost/habanero/scorpion raw heat.

Used to be able to get it at McGonigles Meat Market. Sometimes at the Hyvee on State Line. But neither place has carried it in over a year. The only place I know to get it now is the The Kansas City BBQ Store in Olathe.

Firebug is my go to. I almost always have a bottle of that in the house. Love their spicy one as well.
