You never have to worry about this sort of dilemma popping up for the Shock. Like, ever. Because you'll never be in the discussion as the best team in the country..for as long as you live. [Reply]

That’s not true. I mean, Gregggg had them undefeated and #1 in 2014, before they lost 2nd round. [Reply]

When you're only joy in life is trying to put down a better university and team, life must suck. They can't take away our 2020 National Championship no matter how much they whine. [Reply]
It's kind of funny that KU didn't even get half the votes. There are a lot of KU haters out there amongst the coaching ranks. Yet another reason to claim our rightful title after the AP poll comes out.
Of course we have seen our own collapses against inferior opponents in the tournament.
This year seemed different. We had the best big man in college BB playing his best ever. We had arguably the best point guard in BB. We had the best defense. A HOF coach. One or two of those pillars could have had a bad night and we could still have won.
There are no guarantees but.......We were a clear and heavy favorite. No one can reasonably dispute that. [Reply]

Fuck, I'm sure they were gonna come out hot this year too if the whole thing didn't get cancelled. Let me just check kenpom and see where they were....NOT BAD AT ALL..damn 39 overall, looks like their defense was pretty good. 8th overall, seems like they had a well rounded team with their offense at...LOLOLOLOLOL 117th. They played 31 games, and after those 31 games they've been deemed the best team in the country. It's not their fault they don't get to play more games or that the format changed this year.
The NABC awards this trophy to the team that finishes No. 1 in the final Coaches poll. It’s considered a national championship trophy. Just saying. pic.twitter.com/LUATeeH5Pk

THis is correct. They did not play out the tournament so I find it unlikely the NCAA will crown a champion. That doesn't mean that some other entity can't name a "National Champion." Like the NABC for example. [Reply]
