Eagles are hiring Colts' OC Nick Sirianni as their head coach, sources tell ESPN. Sirianni spent three seasons as a Chiefs' assistant coach, five seasons with the Chargers, and the past three with the Colts. Now the 39-year-old Sirianni becomes the lead man in Philadelphia. [Reply]
I was a little surprised his name wasn't coming up. This is a pretty interesting one. Didn't do much for us but seemed to be very well liked. Reich is a pretty good guy to learn from.
He's got a hell of a job ahead of him, that's for sure. [Reply]
I remember thinking at one point, "The Chiefs apparently think Sirianni is a great up-and-coming coach. They may as well give him the OC position. It's not like he can be any worse than Old Man Muir or Brian freakin Daboll."
Yeah, that was short-sighted for the time, but in hindsight? Wasn't such a bad opinion. [Reply]

Which part was short-sighted? Daboll was, and likely is still, a dildo. [Reply]

Thanks to Wentz, I think they're an even bigger mess than Houston. [Reply]
He was the Chiefs WR coach in 2012. A year where the leading receiver was Dwayne Bowe, who caught 59 balls on 114 targets for 801 yards and 3 TDs. The second leading WR was Jonathan Baldwin, who caught 20 balls for 325 yards and 1 TD. No other receiver had over 100 total yards for the year or caught a TD pass (though the TE Moeaki caught over 300 yards and a few TDs).

Crackerjack hire Eagles.
Lmao, sure you can blame the WR coach for the lack of production from our WRs in 2012, but it's a terrible take. I'd say more of the blame should be placed on Romeo Crennel, Matt Fucking Cassell, and Brady Quinn. I'd put Nick way down on the blame list. [Reply]
