B-/C+ range. It's great to have a QB who can air it out and give you a shot downfield, but people are overhyping that play. Your bread and butter (and championships) come from the pocket and moving the chains. He had several nice 3rd down conversions which are more important in the big picture than the bomb to Hill. Then, you saw a Few throws with bad decision making. Watkins needs to step it up also. [Reply]

Throw out the interception and he was very good [Reply]
hi falcon fan here. I just wanted to give some context to the game last night. First off julio jones, devonte freeman, and deion jones (our pro bowl lb) did not play. After the 2nd series all of our starting defense was out.
Patrick has a canon for an arm no doubt, but tyreek hill beat 3 guys that may not even make the team at all. His interception was to our third string safety named kazee, he backs up ricardo allen, and ron parker who im sure yall are familiar with. Our HC believes in mixing and matching for instance the reason our starting mlb did not play at all is bc he wanted to give second yr players a chance, his name is duke riley number 42. well I can tell you duke sucks bad, but dan thinks thats how you get players up to speed by throwing them out there. So basically after the 2nd series on both offense and defense you saw either our 2nd, 3rd or 4th stringers.
So my question for yall is did your first team offense and defense really play the whole first half bc if so than the falcons actually impressed me in a pre season game with our back ups which never happens lol. Good luck to yall this yr. im rooting for anybody in afc to win besides the pats. [Reply]

No. Our defense was missing our starting ILBs, both safety's, and Houston only played a few snaps
Hill beating those safeties, well, he does that to starters so it really doesn't matter if he was playing grandma. Hill is the fastest receiver in the league who can get elite separation on anybody in any game. The only shocker of that play was how Mahomes could make that pass under pressure, from that angle, and that far and accurately, with velocity. It was phenomenal, and shocking even for us fans who are used to crazy Mahomes passes [Reply]
A B-. He made some good throws, including the bomb, but the INT was poor a decision and another was almost picked. He did move the chains, an improvement from last week. His movement in the pocket seemed to be better, too. I'm a little concerned he hasn't connected with Watkins. [Reply]

see that makes a difference, I knew I didnt see eric berry. To me it does make a difference ricardo allen would have played deeper and not get beat, Hill is a monster and he beat a rookie who is going to be bagging food in 3 weeks. Also like I said our whole defensive line at that pt was mostly people I even never heard of, takk and vic beasley was gone so was McClain and grady jarret just being real. just like on that first 4th down play we would have kicked a fg, and on that 2nd 4th down play either coleman or freeman would be running the ball not a rookie in ito smith. Even patricks first almost Int in the endzone is to a guy on our roster bubble. [Reply]

Yeah, it's always hard to tell in preseason
In real life, the Chiefs probably lose this game. On the road against a SB contender. I think the Falcons are being overlooked and will contend for the championship.
Hopefully we see each other again in 6 more months... [Reply]
Hill has roasted many a starting secondary player better than Ricardo Allen. There are plenty of holes fans of this team or any other can poke in the Chiefs on both sides of the ball. Tyreek Hill's ability to beat a safety or two deep is not one of them. [Reply]
