The Chiefs have expressed interest in former #Mizzou star and #Cardinals DE Markus Golden, per a source.
Golden, a St. Louis native, is a former second-round pick who led Arizona in sacks with 12.5 in 2016. Golden tore his ACL in 2017 and had 2.5 sacks in 11 starts last season.

I have not heard much interest in Shane Ray either. I really thought he might be pretty good but soon as Wade Phillips left he disappeared. Anyway probably not a fit in a 43.
I mentioned in another thread a couple of days ago that Sam Mellinger was on 810 Monday and indicated the Chiefs were not interested in Ray. As in: He asked and they answered. [Reply]
12.5 sack season came in a defense that will be more similar to this one in KC... not saying he’d get that or even close to it, but I think it’s the right fit. [Reply]
