Nope. Self gave many reasons and never mentioned rebounding. It was all about effort and who he was going to play. A good coach won't usually mentioned the guilty player by name: the substitution says it all. He also says it's "a couple guys" (not Lightfoot, Svi, or Devonte).
KU hasn't been able to rebound all season long. WAAAY too many 2nd and 3rd possessions for opponents.
KU also needs to attack the rim more. They don't get to the line a lot, and that comes w/ the type of team they are. They're small w/ little to no depth. But they're not beating teams off the ball. KU actually has a lot of people who really aren't great handling the ball and I think that's most of the problem.

Totally agree. Young is also overrated. Hes got talent for sure and will play in the NBA but right now I just dont see it. Every time I watch them I keep waiting to see this Steph Curry clone I keep hearing of and all I see is this erratic guy that turns it over a lot and takes ill advised long shots. [Reply]

Its to the point now that even oklahoma fans are bitching about the coverage the guy gets. Is he a good player? Of course he is, but he gets bailed out a lot on his drives with foul calls that aren't fouls.
