2021 projected Depth charts WAR, batting/pitching

StL Bfibs: 15.4/11.2 = 26.6
KC Shermans: 15.8/10.6 = 26.4

Wonder how the bfibs like having the same roster as us.

Goodbye, Blue Rocks and Legends. Hello, River Bandits and Fireflies.

I'm kind of bummed about the Blue Rocks because they played a handful of games each year near me.

So...with the short season teams not listed, I'm wondering if the Chukars and Burlington's absence are the result of the plan to shrink the affiliates? Everyone else heads to Arizona to play on multiple Royals rookie teams?

Royals going HD. Hopefully there’s fans there to see it.

:-)

The Royals are updating the display to High Dynamic Resolution, or HDR for short.

The display has been High Definition (HD) for more than decade.

Yeah, all indications are rookie ball will become complex ball.

Upside is teams have everyone there and it's easier to give individualized attention to prospects and move them around.

Downside is that it will cut down on the information we have about guys early on.

Some of you probably remember me gushing about Adalberto Mondesi when he was a 16-year-old at Idaho Falls putting up similar numbers to Jurickson Profar. You might have also noticed I didn't do that with Erick Pena. I likely WOULD have had he played in IDF last summer...

As long as we're facepalming louie, I want to point out that Aguilar has a L.

This is funny now. Different times my friends.....

The Royals signed Mark Davis to the largest contract in baseball history to that point.

In 1990, the Royals had the highest payroll in baseball.

It was a different time. https://t.co/T8q7WTxKts
