Keep in mind that you're a novice lifter for a longer period of time than you think you are. Novice lifting can last anywhere from a few months to a year or two, depending on how hard you hit the weights and where you started.
Once you've reached the point where you don't make regular progress on the SS program, you are ready to move on to the intermediate stage, which can last you for a good number of years. Find it HERE:
If you're a very advanced lifter (many, many years of CONSISTENT weight training), then there are lot of programs out there, and which one you pick is simply a matter of preference. If you're really that advanced, you should know what works for you and what doesn't by this point. [Reply]
Next time, we're going to work more on my squats. I'm getting into heavier weights, so he wants to make sure my form is staying good. Going to go to a little lighter way and do pauses.
My trainer said last night that he thinks I was meant to lift heavy weights. I've been catching on to things very quickly, working my way up in weight, and I'm really good at pushing myself.
I'm stuck in my weight right now, but my diet has gone to shit lately. I got out of the habit of meal prep, and it shows. [Reply]

That's good shit. Down about 11 lbs in 2 weeks and strength is maintaining. Weighed in the upper 180's now. I'll be interested in to here my guys comments tomorrow when I do my 2 week check in :-) I'm over 4 weeks out now and probably 10lbs or less to go. Thinking about doing a carb up day to fill out and see what I'll look like at this reduced BF. Any suggestions on amount and type of carbs to use? I'll do a quick snap shot when I get home to compare to my photo posted on 09-20 when I was about 201ish [Reply]
