Another playoff run, and a winning season has us drafting at the tail end of each round.
This is the 6th year in a row that we will be tracking the college players the Chiefs have publicly or privately expressed interest in leading up to the NFL Draft.
For those who are new, the way this operates is that we collectively monitor various social media sources, blogs, articles and reports for news of the Chiefs' interest in a certain player. When posted in this thread, I will update the OP to include the player. *Please provide the link to the article, the players name, position and team.
I am going to try to link to player profiles when they exist, courtesy of draftbreakdown.com. For some of the lesser-known guys, it may just be a random video or profile from their team website.
“A service member can request to be tendered an appointment in the reserve upon graduation and satisfy their commissioned service obligation in the Ready Reserve.”
Used to be 2 year active duty assignment. Things have changed apparently.
Well, the money wasn't insane back in the day.
The country would throw a fit if a Roger Staubach type talent, who would easily go #1 overall, wasn't allowed to defer his service. [Reply]

Maybe we still take him and Berry mentors him and teaches him both safety positions ?? [Reply]

Those are an indicator of the Chiefs’ interest in a player because each team only gets 60 of the 15-minute sitdowns per combine.
I've had my eye on McGuire and Dayes for teh Chiefs, but not the kid from Wyoming. I also think the Aaron Jones kid from UTEP will end up high on their radar. [Reply]
