Huh, never paid much attention, but despite listening to 'Wake Me Up [Before you Go-Go]' thousands of times, I took it for granted that the lyric was
'you make the sun shine brighter on the darkest day'
then I actually paid attention, just once
'you make the sun shine brighter than Doris Day.'
Doesn't even really make much difference to the meaning, other than to fittingly make the song even gayer.

Wasn't a kid when I discovered Charlie Patton, actually knew all about his legend before ever hearing him. I was stunned.....
