If you have kids... this is definitely a series you want to watch with them or at least encourage them to watch. It has won a ton of awards and is easily among the best animated television that has ever been produced. For the first time it is available to stream via Netflix.

I cannot recommend it highly enough. Hell, kids aside you would probably enjoy this series if you enjoy animated programs.

They’re sitting on a lot of content with previous avatars.
They’ve actually got some novels out diving into the lives of Kyoshi and Yangchen. I haven’t read them yet but plan to at some point.
You mentioned the live action Netflix show being bad. I didn’t think it was entirely terrible but I won’t argue that it was good. Kyoshi taking over for Aang was the best part of the show, IMO. [Reply]

Literally hated pretty much everything about it. It took my 2 weeks to finish the last 3 episodes. They just ruined everything and took away the character flaws of the main characters. I hated it so much and it sucks because I was so excited. [Reply]
