2004 - present rules the 2019 Chiefs boat race Marty's 1994 Chiefs.

It could be a close game if it were played with pre-Manning Rules.

Man, that was wild on taking the TD away from Denver (which was the right call, since bronco player was OOB).

On the other hand, I also can see a illegal contact should had occurred as well.

I was at that game
Got spit on and a beer thrown at me after Montana threw that winning pass
Sitting in the corner where Davis caught the ball

Got to give credit though, Mile High is a tough stadium back then. Seeing that game clock shaking kind of gives you an idea.

I don't know how but I had completely forgotten about Kurt Shottenheimer.

Better than the rickety piece of shit they have now, crowd noise-wise.

Willie Davis with the great stretching catch on his finger tips and then the stutter step inside the pylon.

Man that game really takes you back, there's no question that the game was way more physical back then. Especially on the defensive side of the ball.
On the offensive side of the ball you can really see the roots of our version of the WCO. There are some play action plays, throws outside the pocket and other really smart and deceptive things that Montana does that look a lot like the Mahomes. Makes me feel really good about the future and tomorrow.
