If everyone wears a mask, abides by social distancing rules and stays home if they're sick then we can reopen immediately. The problem is that the ideal of exceptionalism has the nasty side effect of self entitlement which will prevent the USA from controlling it until a vaccine is deployed.

I use a little company called Walmart. So far, no issues getting any meat that I want, though that doesn't say anything about the coming weeks.

That’s pretty sweet. I helped build a few in some backyards when I was a kid, and then a friend of ours let us build a 9 foot high ramp in the loft of his barn In Lee’s Summit and let us put a mini-ramp on the first floor. The big ramp was a thing of beauty, until the barn burned down a couple of years later.

Someone tell me.. How accurate are these disposal strip thermometers you hold on your forehead?

Our company is rolling them out to use before staff come on shift. :-)

That's what they use at my local clinic, so I assume they're at least close enough to do the job.

Staff are also supposed to use them for 7 days before getting a new one.

I tested mine out a minute ago and it said I was somewhere between 100 as 102F.

I took my temp orally and it was 98.2F.

Accuracy not sure but I assume more comfortable than the rectal ones.

:-)

There's a part of me who wants to see a company jokingly send out a memo that says everyone's gonna do a rectal temperature check every day.
