Not really that high on darnold but I can see him being a ryan tannehill type qb who can game manage with a good rb like McCaffery. Good move for Carolina. [Reply]

You simply can't say that with any certainty. The Jets entire organization was a dumpster fire.
Darnold actually has some skill, especially improvising outside the pocket. He's going to the PERFECT situation with Rhule and Brady where they can use him in unconventional ways. [Reply]

I've never been high on him, even in college. Always is supposed to be good. Yet has sucked his entire life. At some point, maybe you just aren't good?
If people gave up on guys like Rosen and Dwayne Haskins, why haven't they gave up on this guy? [Reply]

NFL teams liked Darnold pre-draft more than those other guys.
He was QB #1 on most boards.
Rosen had a few team interested but he was QB 3 or 4 for most.
Haskins might not have been a 1st rounder if it wasn't for Dan Snyder.
And for the record I had both Rosen and Haskins as busts pre-draft.
Not Darnold. If he can't make it with Joe Brady I'll take the L. [Reply]
