Nzoner's Game Room>2019 Free agency Thread
O.city 03:24 PM 02-05-2019
We don't really have one of these yet, so figured we could use this as a place to discuss potential free agent acquisitions and what we would like to look for them to bring in.

If any of you guys are interested, heres a good place to do some research.

He does have injury issues for sure. If that would allow you to pay him like, half of Paradis number, i'd do it.

Try to spend that money on the front 7 or on a CB if they can work a trade.
The thought of having two savvy veterans leading the defense on the field is enticing. I think all Chiefs' fans aged prematurely watching Chiefs' players constantly out of position on defense. Safeties especially. Hopefully our new DC will put an end to some of that.

I think that a team is going to pay him based off of his 2015-2016 years.

Easy to NOT give up sacks if you aren't playing...

He doesn't have an injury issue. He has a recurring concussion issue. It would be one thing if he had 2 or 3 different injuries. But it's the same thing every time, that's a big red flag.

For sure, but that's why I'd try to get a vet S and a vet CB instead of 2 vet safeties.

I'd rather spread the rookies around than have them all at one position. But we have so many needs, it may not be possible.

Wow, I don't think you can pay a Center $10 million. I'd just roll with Morse for half that, and Reiter to back up again.

Your entire offense is either in their prime or about to be. Bring 'em back and go again.

Spend the money on defense this year. You're going to have to address some spots in 2020 on offense.

Wasn't it a foot injury last year or whatever?

IIRC, 2 concussions and a foot whatever.

It would be so Raiders to trade Mack and Cooper and then trade for Brown....

Bell and Brown would eat Kyler Murphy alive in that locker room.

yeah. BUT, concussion problems for a center are a problem. It's not going to stop.
Reiter filled in well and is under contract. Either commit to using your #3 on a Center or re-sign Morse.

Either way, Reiter's going to play a fair amount.
