In order to prevent us wasting precious years of Patrick Mahomes' career, Veach needs to work some magic this offseason. What's your advice for him? [Reply]
May not be all that bad for them. A lot of those guys will get a chance to go play for a legit shot at a Super Bowl ring, if they want, and then can dive back into FA next year when the cap (hopefully) explodes again . . . . . . [Reply]
I know Emmanuel Sanders decision some years back rub the Chiefs organization and fans the wrong way but hear me out...if you can get him for the right price he’ll make the offense better without a doubt

I agree. The smart move for them is to sign one year contracts with teams that they can get play for and get a lot notice. Then cash in next year when the TV deal blows up the cap.
Legit super bowl contenders should benefit from this. I don't think we are going to see FA wide receivers go out there and get long term big money deals with the cap realities for most teams. Sure, if you want to get paid and play for the Jets, Pats or Jags, have at it, but good teams are pretty much in the same boat. [Reply]

Wouldn't it be better to shoot him as he walks in the door, like Joe Pesci when he gets made in Goodfellas? [Reply]
Wide receiver remains the position with the most options in free agency: Kenny Golladay, Will Fuller V, Antonio Brown, JuJu Smith-Schuster, Corey Davis, Curtis Samuel, Nelson Agholor, Marvin Jones, John Brown, Emmanuel Sanders, TY Hilton, Sammy Watkins, Breshad Perriman...& more.

Add that list a FAs to a deep draft pool and these FA's are not going to make squat on the market this offseason. I'd bet you could be some of these guys CHEAP [Reply]
The #Bills also released DL Quinton Jefferson, while DL Vernon Butler decided to help the team and agreed to a reduced deal, source said. He sticks around in a similar move to C Mitch Morse. https://t.co/Q33MfNsfUk
