We don't really have one of these yet, so figured we could use this as a place to discuss potential free agent acquisitions and what we would like to look for them to bring in.
If any of you guys are interested, heres a good place to do some research.

****. THAT.
Yeah right...he's not that level of player and has character concerns.
What about kicking the tires on Ansah..a prove it, one year type?
"I've always been a big fan and thought he was underrated and underappreciated in his prime with the Lions. But Ansah has had trouble staying healthy, missing 14 games over the past three seasons. I think a smart, playoff favorite will pounce on a short-term prove-it deal and hope Ansah gets back to his double-digit-sack form. But maybe, with Ziggy turning 30 in May, his productive days are behind him." [Reply]
Can anyone explain to me how just trading up for a DE plus signing Ziggy Ansah to a one year or two years contract wouldnt be better than trading a 1st round pick and paying a massive contract to Frank Clark? [Reply]

I'm sure I've mentioned this but only 3 of the top 10 teams in sacks made the post season. NE was #29 in sacks per snap. The trend is interior pressure due to QBs getting the ball out quick.
Is an $18 million DE as important as fortifying the middle of the back-end? Would that money/pick be better served on CB/FS and fast LBs?
Chiefs dont need the best defense in the NFL...they just have be serviceable.
I'm also of the belief that high priced FA rarely return on the investment...both Watkins and Hitchens weren't worth half of what they were paid. Berry and Houston were financial busts...Schwartz is about the only player that lived up to his pay.
The Chiefs are in on Clark. Seattle gave them a window to talk about a deal w/Clark. No trade in the NFL happens blindly w/out this move happening first. The Chiefs need to understand possible terms. If they don't like them, deal won't get done. I am hearing 2nd rounder, tho.

Nah this guy is actually legit. He called the Matt House situation before anyone ever did. Said House would be a Chief even after the mix up with Kentucky and boom 3 days later he’s back with the Chiefs [Reply]
