I’d be giddy if they found a way to add Glasgow, Byron Jones, or Schobert.

Not a recognizable name amongst them. Which of these guys would you be happy to bring in and why?

Seriously?

Damn bro, watch you some more NFL lol...

I'd be fairly happy with any of these guys, thus the list. That said, I'll give you the top 3 in each group...

1. OC/G Graham Glasgow.
A highly underrated player that is good at both center and guard. He's not just a serviceable starter, he's a really good starter. I think if you're looking at what's important, that's protecting Mahomes. He's my top guy because of versatility to start at any interior spot.

2. ILB Cory Littleton
Probably the more likely linebacker to hit the market between him and Schobert now that Dorsey is gone from CLE. Littleton is an all-over-the-field stud and would help our shitty linebacking corps tremendously. Like Schobert, he's absolutely awesome in coverage and he's one of the best tacklers in the NFL.

3. LG Joe Thuney
Back to what I said under Glasgow, I think you need to bring in a guy that can instantly help keep Mahomes a little cleaner in the pocket. Thuney is a mobile guard and one of the better guards in the NFL. I don't have him above Glasgow because he's kind of locked into LG, but if I can't get Glasgow then this is my guy.

Next group...

1. DE Carl Nassib
I'd really like to see KC bring back Ogbah, but if they don't/can't, then I think you have to look at Nassib as an option. He's been a spot starter/rotational player the past two years in TB and has put up 6 sacks in each of those seasons. I think he'd definitely compete to start here and be a good, solid piece for the right price.

2. SS Darian Thompson
This is a guy that has always given quality reps when pressed into action. Hell, he should have been starting in Dallas. He doesn't make errors and he's solid in all phases. If you can sign him and let Sorensen go and come away with a net gain in cap space then I'd make the move.

3. WR Chester Rogers
He's always produced when given reps offensively and he's as good a punt returner as you could ask for in the NFL. If Hardman's role increases offensively, having another guy to take some of that burden is pretty huge. I don't think he'll cost too much and he'll give you a solid #4 option that operates well from the slot.

If you look at some available free agent players and see what their market value is according to spotrac.com, you will see that Chiefs are going to have a hard time with the cap and going out and signing the top free agents.

WR A.J. Green - market value 2 years, $18,249,548 - $9.1 M
WR Randall Cobb - market value 2 years, $14,297,232 - $7.1 M

TE Austin Hooper - market value 5 years, $49,923,700 - $9.9 M
TE Greg Olsen – market value 2 years, $10,500,084 - $5.2 M
TE Eric Ebron - market value 4 years, $29,905,840 - $7.4 M
TE Darren Fells - market value 1 year $4,396,277 - $4.3 M
G Brandon Scherff - market value 4 years, $49,872,044 - $12.4 M
C Matt Skura - market value 4 years, $40,349,670, - $10 M
CB Chris Harris - market value 3 years, $33,276,210 - $11 M
CB Trae Waynes - market value 3 years, $25,254,039 - $8.4 M
CB Mackenzie Alexander - market value 3 years, $25,202,967 - $8.4 M
RB Melvin Gordon - market value 4 years, $46,853,596, - $11.7 M
RB Kenyan Drake - market value 4 years, $22,276,973, - $5.5 M
RB Austin Ekeler (RFA) - market value 4 years, $47,801,744, - $11.9 M
OLB Matt Judon - market value 4 years, $65,253,032 - $16.3 M
ILB Blake Martinez - market value 5 years, $81,796,481, - $16.3 M
ILB Patrick Onwuasor - market value 4 years, $19,292,307 - $4.8 M
DL Javon Hargrave - market value 5 years, $73,637,697 - $14.7 M
DL Chris Jones - market value 5 years, $96,461,530 - $19.2 M

I expect we will attempt to sign some of our own and then bargain hunt later in the off season.

If these market values are accurate, what do you think it will cost to sign Bashaud Breeland and Kendall Fuller?

Excellent intel! I agree we have work to do at LB, upgrades for Sorenson and the OL would be a plus, but I'm thinking we can find a vet WR for cheap. Maybe Emanual Sanders would want to play on a winning team with a stud QB?

If AJ Green wants to play in KC for $9m, we'll find the cap space.

I was thinking that was kind of low estimated market value for A.J. Green, but if you take a look at Green's stats from last few years, it might be accurate.

2016 only played in 10 games
2017 full 16 games and back over 1000 yards but only 8 TDs.
2018 only 9 games, 694 yards and 6 TDs.
2019 did not play. He had surgery to repair ligaments in ankle.

A.J. will also be 32 years old for next season.

A team probably does not want to give him a long term contract so 2 years at around 9 to 10 million per year is probably right.

KC shouldn't be the team giving Green that contract either. Might as well extend a young Watkins and lower that hit. I think it's probably that time where you start to look at certain players and realize they aren't the stars they once were.

Chris Harris Jr retweeted this. He loves Mahomes and would take less to play here IMO

There's a lot of talent in the defensive free agent pool @DeAngeloHall23 and @ThomasDavisSDTM give their best team fits for the top targets

Besides signing one of our own FAs, KC needs to be doing bargain shopping during free agency.

Z'Darius Smith got 4 for 66 from the Packers last year and Judon is better IMO. I dunno, at least 17 per would be my guess.
