Luckily my comments shitting on this pick are restricted to the NFL draft thread. Or somewhere. I can't remember where. But not here. Ya'll have to dig around a bit if you want to clown me on this one.
Veach strikes again. He picks dudes in late rounds that Kiper didn't do a good job of tracking, so when draft day hits, we look at all these supposed 3rd round talents still available in the 5th and then the Chiefs draft a guy nobody has heard of. And then fans get upset.
And I'm totally admitting I'm guilty of this. I shat on the Rashad Fenton pick, and I shat on Mike Danna. I said stuff like, "Seriously, this is really the guy currently at the top of the Chiefs' draft board? They couldn't wait for the 7th round? They couldn't wait for undrafted free agency? They had to have him now?"
Fenton and Danna aren't world beaters, no. At least not yet. But they're damn good uses of late round draft stock, that's for sure. [Reply]

Change my mind.
I'm not here to change your mind but I was wrong about Breeland Speaks, as I just couldn't envision them cutting ties with him after just one year on the field.
Considering the fact that guy isn't even on an NFL Practice Squad, in a year in which teams have loaded up with every able-bodied potential player, the issue must be much more complicated than just switching positions or losing weight. [Reply]
This was almost a huuuuuge fumble - dude almost swatted the pitch from the reigning league MVP on the option in only his 3rd game.
Mike Danna really shines here. Here forces Jackson to make a decision immediately and stays with him on his juke. Impressive work from the rookie. #JacobsEyeInTheSkypic.twitter.com/bopTCXT37n
