... the word in the Chiefs building is that they would like to trade up for QB Patrick Mahomes or RB Christian McCaffrey in the first round. If this falls through, he said they like ILB Zach Cunningham a lot as well. [Reply]

of course, the QB would be valued above the RB
I imagine that they would be will to trade up for Mahomes but would just sit and wait for McCaffrey or Cunningham.
I don't think Dorsey wants to trade up at all, he loves his draft picks too much. [Reply]

I think you're sleeping on what Mccaffery brings to the table. He would be every bit the chess piece that Westbrook used to be for Andy in Philly. You may be able to find a runner that is somewhat capable of what Mccaffery is in the 3rd, but as receiver as well? Not a chance.
Only player I'd be ok trading up for would be Mahomes, but overall, I'd be very pleased with ending up with any of the 3 listed. Thanks for the scoop! [Reply]

He gave way more info about his source and then deleted it because he wrote TOO MUCH about it. He could have gotten his source fired.

If Charles was slower and was swallowed up and shut down by any decent D-line he came up against. Just watch tape on the '15 and '16 Stanford-WSU games and see McCaffrey get completely shut down. [Reply]

Doesn't matter when your original post is still quoted for all the world to read... [Reply]

correction, alex smith is TRYING to run the mcnabb version, he just wont go down the field enough
I'm totally on board to move up for mahomes, but not mini-mac. I might be ok if he's still sitting there for 27, but would prefer cunningham or edge rusher if that's the case, so i guess it's a no for my taste. [Reply]
