Nzoner's Game Room>Any Bourbon drinkers out there?
The Poz 01:04 PM 06-19-2008
I've heard some good things about Buffalo Trace Bourbon.
http://www.buffalotrace.com/

Can't get it up here north of the border but, through a wine distributer I am able to order a case. Would like to hear from someone who knows their stuff and has tried it before I order.

Thanks

I bet that 16 is good but a little out of my price range! :-)

Oban 14 is great and a nice beginning to drinking peated scotch.

Any stores in the plaza area with a good bourbon selection?

Homer’s in Westport is near the plaza as well. Great selection.

After winning best of the year, it might be hard to find the dickel 13 year BiB now. Luckily, I bought 3 bottles before the win.
I like that old scout a bit better but that dickel bottled in bond which is a hell of a nice value. Have an unopened bottle in my stash and seeing some stock at my local store so will need to pick up another bottle or two before it dries up.

Really like the Piggyback. A solid "meh" on the Old Scout. I like the bottle of 7 year I have better. Old Ezra is nice. Haven't opened the Yellowstone yet.

The new Mike's is bad ass. Its usually my go to since its nearby but Gomers is pretty good too.

Yes. It's so average that a liquor store owner handed me the remainder of the bottle at a tasting I went to in Minneapolis. Nothing more than something to mix with your softdrink of choice.

Nice collection of bottles.
Thanks!

I will. But I’m good for a while now, plus I’m unpickeling my liver for another week or two. December was an intoxicating month.

not sure if there is a dedicated scotch thread, but figured this was relative enough of a place to post it.
