Chiefs Wire: What was the mood during your first playoff game?
Charles: “It was fun. I played Baltimore in my first game in the playoffs; most people don’t understand that it’s a different building, a different level, a different emotion in the playoffs. I was very upset we lost against Baltimore; it was a tough team playing against Ray Lewis, and basically, we had Matt Cassel. It was just hard to try and put together a game plan, but we could’ve easily won that game.”

That was the first playoff game we’d had in years too so it was really disappointing. Looking back though I dunno wtf we would expect anything else with Casshole.
also I think there was a meltdown between the coaches at halftime and weis ended up eating hotdogs through the second half instead of play calling or something [Reply]

Yep I remember traveling up to KC and freezing my absolute balls off at that game. Charles broke off the big run to put us up 7-0 and the place went nuts. It felt like we were frickin finally gonna potentially win a playoff game.
We were shut out the rest of the game and the Ravens proceeded to beat the ever loving shit out of us. [Reply]

Awful awful game
I was also at the Denver game with Tebow where Tim only completed like 2 passes....and we lost.
Dark times man.
That Denver game must have been the last game you attended because it was the next season after that playoff game against Baltimore. I, too, was at both of those games. After that Denver game that Tebow only completed 2 passes and still won, I declared that I would never attend another Chiefs game until the team decided to get serious about addressing the QB position. And I didn't until Andy Reid's first year in 2013. [Reply]
