And? We aren't a hot spot. Does that somehow upset you or something? It's a good thing we aren't.

JFC you are really fucked up in the head.

I guess. I mean never mind the growth rate for new cases in the entire state has slowed over the last several days...we moved up and even though we aren't even in the top 20 as I stated, somehow we are are a hot spot.

But hey, you know I am wrong. We are a hot spot damn it! :-)

We are 9,000 cases behind Texas which is 10th and still not considered a hot spot. In fact they are talking about re-opening not that I agree nor disagree with that.

We are 19,000 cases behind CA which is still not even being considered a hot spot and they are 5th in total cases.

For total cases per 1m pop we are 27th.

We are nothing close to a hot spot right now.

Don't you love those people? "We had an enrollment increase of 8% over last year!" Um...it's 2 students.

As I just noted to Banyon in the other thread, population density = social distancing.

Cases per million residents is a great indicator of whats going on wether its a city, state, or country.

You remove NYC from the US and it looks rather tame all the way around.

Is NYC an abbreviation for New York Cesspool?

St Louis concerns me.
KC to a lesser degree.

There is something do that. 1,000 people died in 48 states vs 2000 died in 50 states. Don't get me wrong, it's too many people either way but yeah I get your point.

It should as that is where the growth is happening fastest. Franklin county seems to be where the growth is happening the fastest. But statewide things have slowed down over the last few days.

Using the metrics I have used the top 3 hot spots in relation to MO right now are:

Total Cases:
NY 1
NJ 2
MI 3
MO 21

Total Cases per 1m pop:
NY 1
NJ 2
LA 3
MO 27
