We all have varying opinions about the impact of this, the numbers, etc. We will all never agree with each other. But we can all keep it civil.

I just feel for them. It's hard enough for me to comprehend this and I'm a (sort of) adult.

Sure. See post 29670.

*IF* this Toxic Shock/KD news has legs....which I think there are enough cases to prove it does...I wouldn't be so quick to expose kids to this COVID. And that's not because of COVID, but what the COVID could potentially trigger...

Also, don't think your kid will be behind...remember that ALL kids had to go through this same thing.
I don't really worry about him being behind, he's gotten all his work done and stuff. My wife was a teacher before kids so she knows here shit.

Just feel for them.

Yes, and we have plenty of places which are getting better. Even NYC.

I actually think it would be easier if I was a kid, playing call of duty online all night, sleeping all day, jerking it to porn....sounds like an easy way to not worry about this.

Anyone else notice that Mayor Lucas just eliminated occupancy limits in restaurants in KC? Some other stuff about gyms and other businesses were mentioned as well but I didn't read through all of it.

I'm not surprised he's under an immense amount of pressure.

Same here. We do a Zoom with is Teacher on Friday for 30 minutes but was pretty much shut down from March on. Next time he walks into that school he will have a totally different Teacher and be in 1st grade.

But think about it. The distancing policies are going to limit capacity in and of itself so. Also no bar seating.

I’m not just talking about the numbers. There’s not a lot of reports about hospitals being overrun or anything that I’ve seen. I live in Florida, FYI.
