Wanda's eyes when she powered down after extending Westview many square miles? Clearly the face of a demon/demon-like entity in her eyes, and apparently in her dome. Combine that with Pietro's hellspawn comment about the twins, and Mephisto (maybe likely) confirmed.

Regarding Wanda's eyes, I noticed too that the other characters who were actually already dead(Vision, Pietro) had creepy opaque eyes when Wanda saw them in their "Dead" state. And the name of the episode was Cataract.
What I love the most about this whole series though... For the first 3 episodes, I thought this was going to be stupid as hell, and they were going to ride out that corny sitcom shit. I could not see any direction to this at all. But fortunately, the writers were much smarter than I ever anticipated for a series with 30-40 min episodes. Which is just awesome. Instead of dumbing it down for the masses, they took the risk of riding out that nonsense for the huge payoff. And it totally worked. I think the short episode format actually helps them in this regard. At this point, I can see all kinds of crazy potential linking this to a wide range of tempting plotlines... [Reply]
Nerdy comic backstories about the boys... Potentially major spoilers...

The boys Thomas and William eventually become the heroes Speed and Wiccan. Thomas and William were twins supposedly born to Scarlet Witch and Vision; in reality, they were magical constructs, created by Wanda's hex powers. It was revealed that she used slivers of Mephisto's life essence to give her children souls. Tommy and Billy were eventually reabsorbed by Mephisto and ceased to exist.

The Scarlet Witch used her reality warping powers to create twin sons, unknowingly, from two (of five) scattered fragments of the soul of the demon Mephisto that were previously lost to him in an ill-fated encounter with the powerful mutant child Franklin Richards(Fantastic 4's Reed Richards' son). When the boys' souls were reabsorbed into Mephisto, because of the power Wanda put into the soul fragments, they destroyed him and their souls were reincarnated as Thomas Shepherd, the Young Avenger Speed, and Billy.
Both boys have a really long and crazy history with multiple different Avengers comic lines.
Sidenote, in the comics, William(who becomes Wiccan) is one of Marvel's first homo character.

I think the thing that really surprised me (she’s always been hot, I just can’t stop talking about it) is how good of an actress she is (became? IDK). They’ve really put a lot on her and she has done a TON of stuff that could fall flat. Bettany has been awesome forever, but I didn’t expect Olsen to deliver such a good performance. I’m truly impressed.

Wanda lashes out at Hex Pietro when he is cavalier about Vision’s fate – “It’s not like your dead husband can die twice.” The taunt is super cruel and doesn’t feel like something either version of her twin would say. Wanda’s violent reaction certainly speaks volumes about just how attached to this manifestation of Mr. Maximoff she is – not very.
Wanda doesn’t seem to fully trust this version of Pietro, who knows a suspicious amount about what’s really going on here. He’s asking a lot of painful, pointed questions she’s not ready to address.
Some of Uncle Pete’s exclamations have strong Mephisto energy “Unleash hell, demon spawn!” “The kids need a father figure” “Damnit, if Westview, New Jersey isn’t charming as Hell…” Has the rumored Marvel Comics villain behind all this integrated himself in the The Hex passing as Pietro? We shall have to see.
WTF? So, we've previously seen Agnes being aware of Wanda's powers. Asking if they should redo a scene(Take it from the top). But now we see that she's actually also being held against her will, and what appeared to be the real her actually has no clue what's happening. I really thought she had some sort of part in it...
Does that mean that the baddie is just randomly "Possessing" the towns people? Hopping from one to the next inside the alternate dimension construct that Wanda created?
I'm getting the feeling that Wanda subconsciously created this whole thing, but she's not really powerful enough to hold it all together at the same time.
Including creating the boys and reanimating Vision. Wanda in the comics was basically treated like shit. She was always emotionally unstable because of it, which caused lots of huge problems for the world. Her powers were so great that she could get angry or emotional and accidentally change reality. Which I think is what's happening here, and even she isn't really aware of the extent of it. But yet something/someone is inside her construct, apparently unaffected by her powers, and it's toying with her emotions.
Sorry, but I guess I am in the minority on this. If not for how absolutely stunning and hot Elizabeth Olsen is I probably would bow out.
I am not getting the direction of this and the weird take on the MCU...maybe in the final episode I might look back and say..."OK now I understand" but for now I am just lost.

Agnes is in on it and fucking with Vision. Remember Wanda's magic didn't work on her kids (and since Wanda's magic reanimated Vision, that's what he's using too). If she is a similar ...whatever the kids are... could be that the magic can't influence Agnes.
Whether or not the endgame is what she was after, but if her objective was to grow the hex, and she heard/knew what they were arguing about last episode, it's reasonable to assume that she could prod his curiosity and get him to go outside, causing Wanda to expand the hex.
I have no fucking clue. And that's a good thing.
It should be noted that they've outran the sitcoms I watched as a kid (nick at nite and then the stuff that was on). I never watched Malcom in the Middle But all that stuff was light and funny and worked for me.
Also one aspect they're doing a great job of (the whole crew) is making the sadness that Wanda is feeling palpable. The series pretty much doesn't work without that aspect, and they're doing a great job, all while there are jokes and ridiculous costumes. Its really a fascinating watch. [Reply]
