So using a belt on your kid is abuse?

He should never play in the NFL again if these things are true and the Chiefs have their hands tied here. Either let it play out and see what comes of it it, or release him and have him score TDs on you in a year. They can’t win.
Or the NFL could say that, given the circumstances, that if he's released (to satisfy the outcry), if he's ever allowed back in the NFL the Chiefs will have all the previous rights to him restored as if he never left. I don't care if that means giving us more Cap space and/or a roster spot, it's up to the NFL to allow for the Chiefs to get him back if he's ever allowed back.

Since we know that won't happen, the Chiefs just need to stand their ground.

Chiefs should do what they’re doing no matter what the Mike Florio’s of the world think.

If he’s charged then the questions answer themselves.

If he’s not charged then leave it up to/work with commissioner on punishment,

Suspend him and keep him suspended as long as you want. Let the NFLPA stick up for him if they want to. But don’t surrender his rights so he can end up on an AFC team like they stupidly did with Hunt.

Not saying he should play for the Chiefs again if he’s guilty. Not saying he shouldn’t be punished for what he’s already been shown to have done. Just saying that if the Chiefs toss him to the Raiders or Broncos or Chargers (one of which would pick up his rights in a heartbeat, say they believe in redemption, and let a year pass before having him on their team) then they are idiots.

Hopefully, Clark Hunt and Veach learned their lesson with Kareem Hunt.

I wonder if Crystal coached the son?

Finally someone brings up an valid question rather than the bullshit defenses we've seen for Hill so far.

I thought about this yesterday as the only possibility to why the kid would say what he said. But it seems implausible that the kid eventually wouldnt spill the beans to investigators at his age.

Relative to older children, 3-year-olds have a limited understanding of the effects of their statements on others’ beliefs and are less aware of the negative consequences of revealing transgressions.

3 year olds say whatever someone tells them. If a mom tells the son that daddy hurt him when he actually didn’t, it’s possible he could say these things. Children this young don’t understand the consequences of what they say.

On a side note Crystal admitted to lying to investigators about the abuse incident so it’s possible and plausible that she lied again in saying Tyreek abused the boy when in fact he didnt

He's 6'3 260 vs 5'10 185.

My money would be on Ricky unless Tyreek was running away the whole time.
