got about 500 rounds down range today, had the conservation area range all to ourselves.

Shot the sub2000, the Scorpion, and my AR, man felt good to get a little time off work and get some range therapy in.


Anyone got tips for accuracy at 100m with iron sights and 9mm? LOL

I just paid $.24 a round for 9mm at Natchez and $.33 a round for .223 at TrueShot. Still not cheap, but doable..

Yeah, it's not bad considering. So glad I don't have to pay those prices though. And that I won't have to buy a single round of ammo for at least 5 years if necessary.

No idea. That post was too far back now. maybe I misquoted you. Or meant to quote someone else.

I make my own for about 9 cents/round. Might be less than that, since I don't count the cost of brass, but I know I did when I first began hand loading.

Yeah, that's probably close, as the projectiles are, or were, about 5 cents per, the powder a couple pennies, and the primers were 2.2 cents or something.

So something like $95/1000, IIRC.
