That sauce at Raisin' Canes should be illegal.

Just looked it up and we have about 6 in the Phoenix area. I had no idea we had them at all. Worth it?

Their menu is pretty limited. Its basically fried chicken strips, crinkle cut fries, coleslaw, and texas toast. I think most people go because dipping the chicken and fries in the sauce is dynamite.

Their food isn't really spectacular on their own. The slaw is okay. The chicken strips and fries are pretty standard. The texas toast is buttered and good...but I mean, it's still just toast.

Yeah, they opened one not too onerously far from me, but I've had zero impulse to go, though friends rave because it's popular with kids/pre-teens.

Pretty good business concept, simple menu picky kids are likely to go wild for. Just not directed to my interests.

I made that for Saturday night with some Arborio rice with peas and parmesan cheese. A green salad on the side.

My wife and I lived in Chicago for two years '94/'95. My favorite pizza on earth by far is Giordano's. I had a couple shipped to us for our 20 year anniversary a few years ago. It was still damned good.

It was really good. I've never ordered like that before, but will again.

Well, pretty sure yours will blow mine away, looking forward to it. I was getting tired of them on the sub, they were very rich. The spaghetti was a nice change of pace.
