It appears the #Chiefs are, indeed, rolling out the old-school Municipal stadium paint scheme for the field on Sunday. Take a look at this (crappy) image of the old field, and compare to the stencil marks on the field today.

When Arrowhead first opened, the Astroturf had a circle logo at the 50 with a very 1970's "A" logo, which was at the time their Red Arrowhead Stadium logo. So, the look of the field changes all the time. Personally, I'd be cool with putting the AFL 60 year Anniversary logo at the center 50 this year. I think Lamar would have dug that. [Reply]
