Winner gets to push down the NFL player of their choice and stomp on his head.

Poll arriving sometime after the whistle.

And Rudolph yelled "This is MAGA country" as he ran off the field.

If he'd have said this IMMEDIATELY after the game, the world would've come down hard on Mason Rudolph and Garrett would've probably gotten 3 games because the NFL is terrified of this sort of shit. The NFLPA wouldn't have appealed and everyone would've 'wink/nodded' this thing to bed.

True or otherwise, everyone knows that's the card to play. Garrett just didn't play it and realized the opportunity he missed. Because evidently in 2019 you CAN commit a violent crime for a name-calling incident and expect sympathy.
Maybe in the court of public opinion. Try that in a real court system and it would be irrelevant. Violence can only be used to stop violence- not for hurt feelings.

Using an object to commit blunt force trauma onto someone's skull could bring an attempted murder charge since he was not defending himself from like violence. Aggravated Battery at a minimum.

Plus with video of the violent act- it would be a plea deal at least to escape the more serious charges.

You’ve been wrong about everything. Starting with saying the Garrett hit was legal all the way up to saying Rudolph instigated the whole thing. :-)

BTW, the race card has been played in this situation for a while now.

“White privelege” is why Rudolph wasn’t suspended. Never mind that he never did a single suspension worthy thing. His “White privelege” hailed him out. :-)

Provocation has always been considered as mitigation in the law. In a court case it would not be a defense, but it could decrease the severity of the offense, and hence the severity of the sentence.

In this case, if it is true that Garrett reacted to an extremely provocative insult, it would be reasonable to consider that as mitigation and reduce the suspension accordingly.

She probably thinks that God sent her to Pittsburgh for this reason. And that God is a woman since no man would do something like that.

So now do we pronounce his name 'Meelz Guh-ray' like 'Juicy Smollay?'

So Rudy didn't try to rip his helmet off? Because news sources FAR more worthy than "theshadowleague.com" has flatly stated that Rudy tried to take the helmet off. In fact, reporters even questioned him on it and he just repeated his pre-wriiten stock response.

who the fuck is theshadowleage and why would anyone give a fuck what their writers have to say? Nick Athan has more credibility than any "writer" for that site.

Until I hear Garrett say that Mason used a slur, I’m going the assume it’s a rumor..

I hope he’s banned for life

NFL spokesman Brian McCarthy said the league looked into Myles Garrett’s allegations that Mason Rudolph used a racial slur last Thursday night before the brawl “and found no such evidence.”

Man, that was a bad idea for Garrett to go there. We can all see what happened. I wonder if that was his idea or his agent's idea.

I kind of blame Bill Romanowski for this. Romanowski opened the door for on-field racial complaints. The world would be a better place if he had never been born.

If dude is throwing out accusations of racism to get out of trouble... he needs to be made an example out of.

I’d suspend him half the season next season as well. If I were Mason I’d sue for defamation and maybe bring assault charges against him. Fuck Jussie Garrett
