Recently had an opportunity to acquire rights to a classic film that I hold in such high regard I wouldn't want to even think about, let alone actually do, a remake or sequel. What movies would you consider off-limits for a remake or sequel? [Reply]

Gremlins... (The sequel was terrible)it looks like it's gonna happen though.
I heard they're also doing a two part movie remake of The Stand and IT. The miniseries was ok for both, (IT could've been better, the stand was good).
I just don't know... I can see IT being a pretty good movie if it follows the book exactly. The Stand? Tough to do much better than they already did. Gary Sinese was excellent. [Reply]
The second one is ridiculous. Doesn't even have the same tone as the first one. Totally different direction. It's like the writers of II didn't even get the first movie. [Reply]
