A lot is gone. EJ Gaines and Rashaan Melvin come to mind but I expect Veach to just draft a CB now. Amerson was insurance in case this scenario happened. No need to overpay for a FA corner.

The Bears now hope to get CB Kyle Fuller back in the fold as well. They put that transition tag on him for a reason, as they don’t plan on letting him get away.

I don’t think we sign a CB now like Melvin or Claiborne. I think Amerson was their short term veteran insurance. I suspect they’ll draft someone on day 2 who they think could potentially start in 2018 and beyond.

Every free agent deal that's been talked about so far, the fans of the team losing them say, would have liked to keep them, but not at that price. The prices have gone up across the board.

The chiefs have dropped a lot of coin on guys they want. They have let some guys go that got paid more than anyone thought they would. As long as they hit with the guys they got, i don't care about the price. I'm sure they have a plan about the cap. I hope they don't fuck it up, but they have to have a better handle on it than i do.
