Fantasy/CasinoPlanet>CP $100 Fantasy Football League (Update to other thread with rules in thread starter)
doomy3 08:03 AM 07-23-2010
Alright guys, here is a new thread for the CP $100 Fantasy Football League. The settings are listed below.

Buy-In will be $100 and will be due 1 week before the draft. Please get your payments in earlier than that though, so we can have the draft order generated. I will not have draft order generated before everyone has paid. We will be using Paypal for payments. I have sent payment instructions out to everyone, so please start getting this paid. If you need the instructions again, please let me know.

As soon as everyone has paid, we will have a draft order generated by using a random order generator online (we used one of these last year, and it worked great). Everyone's emails are entered into the system, and everyone receives the email with the draft order direct from the website, so it is fair to everyone.

I will allow the trading of draft picks as well, and ESPN is set up for such.

Now, please send me some entry fees, and let's get this going.

None of my receivers are top flight wideouts like an Andre Johnson or Reggie Wayne type but they're all pretty damn decent I think. It's really a toss up of who to start at WR some weeks, that's how close they all are talent wise. None of them are tremendous but they're all more than serviceable.
If your talking about the $100 CP league I am in need of a WR badly. Not really sure what I have to offer, take a look.

This may be a stupid question and I'm pretty sure this is you but your team is Ain't Decided Yet, is that correct? I'm just guessing so because you only have 3 receivers, while at the same time you have an entire plethora of backs. Would you be willing to part with McFadden, and if so which of my receivers or other players would interest you. Give my roster a look and at that point maybe we can hash out a deal. Not promising anything of course but am definitely interested...that's for sure.

Yeah, he got the better deal imo but I was desperate. I drafted really shitty in this league, actually all the leagues I'm in I failed this year. This league has deep benches so RB pickin's are really slim. I made the mistake of taking J. Harrison too high giving him too much credit for how he turned it on at the end of last year. I didn't expect a white boy to come in & take over. It was all down hill from there.

I'm hoping Bess continues to benefit from the double/triple teams Marshall gets. Although Hartline gets a lot of looks in the redzone.

Oh well, if I made him better, so be it.

In your defense I don't think anyone in the league predicted before the season started that Hillis was going to be on such a tear. If anything it was the same situation that happend to you to a lot of other people. Hell a lot of people were really high on Harrison coming into the season. I'm glad I didn't end up with him. I do fall into the same category though. During the draft I remember thinking to myself I'd love to be able to steal Harrison in one of the later rounds. Fortunately that' didn't happen and you got stuck with him....thanks for taking one for the team I guess.

My luck usually seems to travel that same route. I mean heck I'm already in damn good shape in my $25 dollar one. Not doing so well in my first $100 league however. That's probably one of the reasons I decided to join another $100 league....that and the fact I love fantasy football. So here's to wishful thinking that I win a league or two and make some money at the end of the season! :-)

See, I like your side of the deal better personally. I like Pierre Thomas and Mendenhall quite a bit though. It was a pretty even deal IMO.

Pierre Thomas, Mendenhall, and Bess for MJD, Brandon Marshall, Cribbs.

Pretty even, but I really like Mendenhall and Pierre.

I dont think it was lopsided at all. We both got a need. I have a ton of RB's he had some wr's it worked out well. I am hoping mendenhall has his carries reduced because big ben is back.

Yeah, like I said, I think it was a pretty even deal that helped both teams.

No i am actually Dreamweavers.

and i didnt mean to imply the deal was unfair or anything, everyone has players they like more than others and with the guys I like he got the better end of it.

Sure I got ya....I'll take a look to see if you have anyone that sparks my interest. I might have to see who I get on the waiver wire this week though. Already put in a few claims. Got I've been getting my ass handed too me in this league. Sucks I lost Clayton for the season yesterday too. He was doing good though I've only started him a couple of times this year. I was just beginning to trust the guy to produce every week too. Just my luck! Oh well what can ya do....such is the topsy turvy world of fantasy football I guess. :-)

Good catch. Not sure why ESPN did that... No, there will not be any byes that week. I'll have to manually adjust the schedule.

I suppose we could repeat week one's schedule that week?

Yeah, that's what we'll do. I just checked and no one plays the team they played the first week a second time, so we will set up week 13 to where you play the same team you play in week one.

Doomy, I can't get into the league from work (currently TDY) but I got your trade offer in my E-mail. I may counter it, but can't accept it as is. Matthews has looked like hooey and I don't think CJ is likely to get traded anytime soon.
