Nzoner's Game Room>Ravens/ Steelers moving to [Wednesday? Maybe? WTF knows?]
cmh6476 12:02 PM 11-25-2020
poster boy Lamar must have tested positive

The #Ravens-#Steelers game previously set for Thursday night is being postponed to Sunday afternoon. The first in several weeks.

Chiefs could easily win the #1 seed and wouldn’t have to win out to do it (the most probable record for the Steelers right now is 14-2 although that is dependant on whether the Ravens game ever gets played). I would expect KC would fight hard against any decision to take the bye away this late in the game just as much as the Steelers.

To me it feels like the Colts, Bills or Ravens will win one. And maybe an outside chance at the Browns stealing one. I think Pitt's O/U for losses is 1.5.

538 gives the Chiefs something like a 40 percent chance at the bye (likely because the Steelers do not have the easiest schedule going forward). It’s very doable. No way our management is happy if the NFL completely shifts gears with a month to go and takes it away from us.

One week could change all that if we lose to TB.

The Steelers struggled with the same Cowboys team (with Gilbert instead of Dalton) that just got blown out by Washington.

That teams playing good football with Alex Smith at QB and is not an automatic W for Pitt. The only game I don’t think they Steelers have a chance of losing is the Bengals.

I know a 7-9 Seahawks team made the playoffs (and actually won over a pretty damn good Saints team) but is that the worst record to make the playoffs in league history? I think 6-10 might do it in the NFC East.

That's pretty much it. The 2014 Panthers went 7-8-1. That's the only other team in a non-strike season to make the playoffs with a losing record.

Funny thing is that Panthers team won their 1st playoff game too. So teams with losing records over a normal season are undefeated in the 1st round of the playoffs.

Pretty good odds the NFC East champ is gonna put that streak to the test.

Fuck. Do I risk my fantasy game by using steelers players who may not play, or risk my fantasy game by using worse choices?

Per NFL Network Lamar is out due to covid 19 and also the third string QB Trace McSorly is also out per Ravens website. RGIII is the only QB on the roster and NFL Network say he will start. I'm wondering who will be the backup with McSorly out. RGIII won the final regular season game 28-10 last Dec 29th against Pittsburgh filling in for a resting Lamar Jackson. There was nothing on the Ravens website or the Baltimore Sun site about moving to Tuesday.

Either Baltimore has pulled a Tennessee and blew off protocols, or makes you appreciate how well teams like KC have done to eliminate large outbreaks.
