So after doing some exploring of KC yesterday, it seems a lot more people DGAF than I thought. Patios of bars were absolutely packed all around downtown. No masks, no distancing. I think some of the bars had good intentions (spacing tables further away), but it didn't seem like they would do anything if a bunch of people kept coming in.

My buddy started to call the cops but the guy ended up calling everybody assholes and ran out of the store.

Another neighbor friend of mine was walking a nature trail yesterday. He said it was a dozer trail bladed about 12' to 15' wide. He wasnt wearing a mask but there was plenty of room to steer well clear of folks if wanted. Anyway he said he was approached by a guy wearing a mask who started screaming at him at the top of his voice because he wasnt wearing a mask. My neighbor said it very nearly went to blows. Crazy times folks.
And then everyone gave a standing ovation to your friends.

Found out today the staff member I had contact with that was presumed to be positive tested negative. Still waiting for my results.

We're at 542 on Worldomoters right now. On pace for the lowest total in a long time.

Rambling thoughts here... But when you look at a particular county/country/whatever area's total positive count, I always wonder what the % of that count is active cases. Most places aren't good about posting "recovered" numbers.
