I am a big Beat Farmers fan seen them live 4 times including once in their hometown of El Cajon,Ca.It was a shame that Country Dick died at such a young age.If you like them at all and haven't heard I'd strongly suggest checking out a live album they did called Loud and Plowed and Live.

I bought Van Go on a whim back in the mid-'80s and really liked it (loved the song Riverside). I never actually got anything else by them until recently. It was pretty hard to find for a while there. I'm not usually a fan of live albums but I'll check out the one above.
