Washington DC and The Holy Land>How many self-proclaimed Nazi/white supremacists have you met in your life?
BIG_DADDY 12:54 PM 08-05-2019
After the whole Gilroy Garlic dealio, watching the media push their whole agenda I started talking about it at work. I am a 56 year old man who has lived in 5 states. I couldn’t think of single self-proclaimed Nazi/white supremacists I have ever met. When I talked to others about it at the office turns out they had never met one either. I decided I would ask as many people as possible for one week and see what the results were. The Judo studio, the Jiu-Jitsu studio, the gym and a group of our friends we hung with Saturday night. Zero, was the answer. Not one single person this entire week has ever met anyone who self-identifies as such yet when we turn on the news apparently they are everywhere, you just can’t see them, like air molecules. The media makes every shooter a star and divides this country on a 24/7 news feed and then blames Trump for his divisive nature and the shootings. Enemy of the people indeed.

Yup, I admit I enjoy that using data, dictionary definitions, facts, and historical accuracy triggers the idiot crowd like you. That should be obvious.

Just like its obvious your triggered by what I've said in this thread but don't have a response, so you snipe like this.

You want to pretend that the "dictionary" definition does not include the MOST COMMON use of the word in today's vernacular. Poll Americans today and most will include a Nazi/German connotation. This is even more true in today's political discourse where the Left continues to use terms like "concentration camp"; "fascists"; and "Nazi" in their discourse and propoganda against Trump & others who oppose them. The detention centers used for illegal immigrants are a sad by-product of people choosing to break U.S. law and an ineffectual U.S. government that can't come to together to find a better solution. But to call the facilities "concentration camps" is nothing more than a political ploy by the Left. You are a troll and a liar.

merriam-webster

"—used especially in reference to camps created by the Nazis in World War II for the internment and persecution of Jews and other prisoners."

Lexico

"The term is most strongly associated with the several hundred camps established by the Nazis in Germany and occupied Europe 1933–45, among the most infamous being Dachau, Belsen, and Auschwitz."

Look at me (triggered fool) deny & cherry pick what the dictionary says. Modern usage means nothing if it doesn't support my political beliefs.

It's really pretty simple, libshits arent smart enough to know the difference between a concentration camp and a refugee camp or they are liars. Take your pick. :-)

Oh, wow, not only do you politicize the death of mistreatment of Jews for your narrow definition, you are also stupid enough to think 'especially' or "associated with" means only. It doesn't.

The stupid things people say just to defend Trump. :-)

Republicans, particularly Trump supporters don't use words that describe Democrats/liberals as socialists, communists, a threat to the very fabric of America and it's future?

Wasn't defending Trump. Just pointing out your shady propaganda and mimicry of the Left. So again, your reality is your own. I never said those words equated with "only." Just pointing out your deliberate cherry-picking that you try to use in support of your ignorant posts & attempts at political debate. And regarding "...politicize the death of mistreatment of Jews..." :-):-):-) You started at the bottom of this conversation and it's been downhill for you ever since. Good luck with that.

You are seriously trying to say the Dem party doesn't have a very socialist faction governing it right now between AOC, Bernie, Beto etc...

Have you been watching the Dem debates?

Free Healthcare including for illegals
Decriminalizing illegal border crossing (may as well be open borders)
Free college, including for illegals
Reparations
Raise taxes
Gun grabbing

What exactly do you call these policies if not socialist? And yes most of their ideas are a threat to the country.

Critics label ideas and philosophies that have socialist/communist/collectivist impulse, . . . because they oppose those ideas and philosophies for those impulses.

It seems like a 'personal attack' only if you support the ideas and realize that the consensus is against you.

Confounding the matter is the strategy of progressives of incremental change, meaning that no 'modest' proposal is ever actually the endgame [see, the need for single payer now barely even 1/2 decade after ObamaCare, which progressives hissed and sputtered all the livelong day had NOTHING WHATSOEVER to do with an effort towards single-payer at the time].

If you have evidence that either specific labels of socialist impulses are completely unfounded, or on the obverse that the Feds are presently operating detention centers in an organized prelude to the more consensus conception of concentration camps, lay it out. Otherwise the comparison is ill-founded.

The only reason to get so offended at calling the mass concentration of individuals in camps, under guard, as concentration camps is to defend trump.

And since I never denied that nazi concentration camps are concentration camps, I didnt cherry pick anything. Again, that would be you insisting that nazi style concentration camps are the only kind.

Yes, you are politicizing the holocaust by insisting their suffering is the only measure of a concentration camp. Its absolutely pathetic.

Over in Germany in the early 80’s, in the barracks there was a Nazi/white supremacist group. It consisted of 3 Afro Americans, 1 Vietnamese and 1 Mexican/Puerto Rican. Does that count?

Oh no, you're absolutely right. Republicans don't want an unfettered, ever increasing defense budget. Republicans you can bet, the party of freedom. DRUG WAR! WINNING! Republicans, the party of Jesus. Until it comes to feeding the needy. Well that is until a corporation is at the trough to slurp up off the backs of middle class Americans. Republicans, the party of god, guns, and nationalism. Oh let's not forget, no feelings of moral and spiritual superiority, ever.

Democrats aren't no more of a threat to America than Republicans are.

What does Jesus have to do with government policies about feeding "the needy"?
