Is that some sort of padding on the crack of Mahomes' ass to keep the pants from giving players a wedgie? I can't imagine it would provide much cushion to the tailbone/coccyx. [Reply]

Has been a staple for years, was on the old style pants and the pad was held by the belt, modern day they are build into the padded girdle and they do protect the tail bone... [Reply]

yep - and I remember if you landed just right, the buttons that held the pad in actually hurt more than not having padding! [Reply]
