Excuses can be made -- have been and will continue to be -- but these numbers are tough to dismiss.

Brady is just screwing around. No team is going to put a 45 year old QB on the field. Even Kraft won't do that. Bill certainly won't seeing how he wanted him gone already. He may not stick around with him at 42. His numbers are down across the board. Gronk will get cut, pretty clear thats goingto happen. Julian is 32, he may he gone as well. Gordon is a bummy drug addict and will be gone. All this shit is very close to being over. If they lose to the Vikes, it's over. When they lose to Pitt it's way over.

Brady's completion percentage when protected well sits at 71.8, 16th in the NFL, and his accuracy percentage on deep passes when given a clean pocket is 77.4, 24th in the NFL, per Pro Football Focus.

Enjoy your last real season of TB12...he's starting to fade.

He's a noticeably different creature on the road.

Most are, so that's not exactly breaking news. But I think the fact that his physical skills are starting to erode makes him more dependent on being able to adjust pre-snap. On the road with a hostile crowd, that's just more difficult to accomplish.

I'm 22 and medaled in the winter olympics last year

I'm 37 and have been fairly active my entire adult life.

Let me tell you - shit is a LOT harder now than it was at 29. And no, I'm not a professional athlete but I'm in decent shape and things simply hurt for no reason on occasion. Warm ups take a lot longer (if they work at all; sometimes you just stay stiff) and pulls/strains take forever to get back to normal - assuming they do at all. I still feel a knot in my hamstring if I have a flight or something after pulling it 2 years ago.

No, I am not in the shape Tom Brady is in. But time is unbeaten and untied. I mean damn - the human body was designed to get eaten by a saber cat at 24 years old as far as I can tell. Making someone live for 80 years and giving them a body that's worth a shit for about 10 years in the first 1/3 of it seems like a serious design error.

To try to argue that Brady is not what he once was or that age isn't tracking him down is just silly. It ignores any number of basic anecdotal examples not to mention any statistical analysis that has ever been done in any sport. Tom Brady is not physically what he once was - there's just no denying that fact.

Is Tom Brady going to be an elite QB at 75 years old? No? So, we all agree it's a factual inevitability, right?

Great. Now that we KNOW, not suspect, but KNOW that he is going to get too old to play, we can start looking for warning signs. And I think they've been showing up for awhile.

I find the thought of a fading Tom Brady very comforting.

All them Tom Brady fanboys will start having aneurysms when Father Time, who is 100% W-L ratio, finally catch up to the "great" TB12.

I suspect Brady will start to REALLY regress in the very near future 1-2 years and it begins.

He's clearly not getting better, but their bye couldn't have come at a better time.

They'll probably win out, go to the AFC championship game, then represent the AFC in the big game.

I've been a Chiefs fan for long enough to know that good things like going to and winning a Super Bowl don't happen for us.
