We all have varying opinions about the impact of this, the numbers, etc. We will all never agree with each other. But we can all keep it civil.

Thanks!

What do you mean by mild?

I think there are significant numbers of people, under 65, that are wiped out for weeks, much worse than any flu that they ever had.

If they are never admitted to the hospital, they get classified as mild if they are classified at all.

I don't think On The Warpaths experience is that rare.

I know 5 people in LA who got it - all in their 40s without other health issues. All 5 got pretty sick, one said he saw his dead relatives on his worst night. All are recovered now.

The Swedish guy I know in his 40s who ran 10ks, but still still can't run very much 2 months after recovery.

It makes me wonder about my friends here and if they're really fully recovered, or just recovered enough to do routine activities. None of them are extreme exercisers. One guy dives a lot and he's fine doing that. So that's a good sign.

I did a little baby hike with one of my friends who recovered (like 2 miles - maybe 500' elevation gain). Either she is way way out of shape or she was having issues. It seemed like she needed to stop to catch her breath a lot. I didn't want to ask her if she thinks it's the covid or she's just that out of shape.

I don't know, maybe read the sentence before the one you cherry picked?

I agree. Pete helps keep the balance. Do I agree with everything he says? No. But I can at least see where he is coming from with his line of thinking.

Honestly it's like that with most of the people in here. I may not agree with you 100%, but I like to try and see everyone's side of things.
