Exactly. EXACTLY. We got what we asked for, and we've reached an age unlike past years where we can't easily get away with having that kind of player on the team. This isn't the 70's, 80's, or 90's anymore( sadly ). Everyone old and young is armed with a recording device and gossip has never been more empowered as it is today.
When we all made that claim a decade ago, the proliferation of social media was not as complete as it is today, nor had the vomit-inducing presence and activities of the SJW been yet emboldened by the last Presidential administration.
If these tender little nuggets of programmed "feels" knew what had happened behind closed doors with the NFL back in the earliest days and mid era of its existence, they would demand that football be destroyed forever and all game tape burned.
So my attitude since Hunt is, "don't invite the trouble to begin with". I'm not saying that Frank Clark is going to fail us in this regard, but I really didn't want to take the chance to begin with. And when the Chiefs chose to bring Hill in and to make him a super star, and someone that the team relies heavily upon to win games big and small, I'm saying you have to protect that asset at all costs now. And if that means playing dirty with the press, then so be it. If that means hiring specialists to achieve certain desired outcomes, so be it.
We're in it now and we need to see it through.
But in the future, we can't bring anymore DV's and SO's in to the fold. We don't need an ongoing headache with this shit. The era in which we could have properly handled these kinds of things is over. [Reply]

I really like Mecole, even if I still think he maybe went a bit above his slot. I think Andy had quite a few double gadget plays for Tyreek and DAT last year that got benched when DAT broke his leg, I think Darwin and Mecole double gadget plays could be extremely fun. [Reply]
