Otherwise, have fun, talk shit, freak out and lose your goddamned minds. It's Draft Weekend. The hot takes in these threads are so funny. I'll also be starting player threads for each of our picks as they are made, with videos and notable stats/takes in the OP. These separate threads will be made as soon as the news breaks, outside of this thread. I will link the threads below. Pure knee-jerk gold to reference in the future.

Here are our picks:

Round 1, #28: Xavier Worthy
Round 2, #63: Kingsley Suamataia
Round 4, #131: Jared Wiley
Round 4, #133: Jaden Hicks
Round 5, #159: Hunter Nourzad
Round 6, #211: Kamal Hadden
Round 7, #248: C.J. Hanson

Here is a list of the prospects the Chiefs have shown interest in this year.

The later rounds are where Bret Veach mines gold. I don't think we need to.

I agree, Kentucky used to be a nice place.

There’s the guy that’s ready to play according to NFLN

That's 100% true. ML did not want him and he wasn't shy about showing just how much he didn't want him.

Dude touched the ball once, fumbled and barely saw the field the rest of the year.

Colts having a nice draft.

And Bengals grab Burton as their Tyler Boyd replacement.

Bengals are having a good draft.

Won’t matter though.

Oh. I didn't know that. I was just taking a blind shot at the Bengals.

Just feels like an early pick for a raw but upside pick, that’s typically reserved for Day Three.
The problem is that there tends to be runs on positions as teams get into a FOMO mindset. Sometimes developmental players get drafted higher than expected. Smart GMs (like Veach) don’t just draft to “win now”, but he also looks longer term. This is critical for a team like this. He drafts to sustain as much as to win now. The LT he got allows for this as I highly doubt he would have made it to KCs third round pick.

Out of all the ACFC/AFCW competition, Bengals and Ravens are the only one's keeping up in the draft.

I’d take Jaylen Wright or Marshawn Lloyd with our next pick.
