Facebook Royal Fan is going to be in for a surprise when they find out Bubba is actually just a fringe MLB player offensively, and will rely on his defense to provide value to the team.
Phillips has been just as good or better than Bubba this year but nobody talks about him. He started slow but has really decreased his strikeout numbers as has been talked about on this thread already I believe. Phillips is also elite defensively.

Phillips has the better arm (though Bubba still has a cannon), but Starling is a superior defender overall... at least from what I can gather from scout breakdowns. [Reply]
