Just in case you have some random thought and feel like starting a thread over it, you can just bump this one.

I want a Sproles wind spinner in my back yard. I bet those little legs are a blur in the breeze.

No, sister dear. We cannot be facebook friends. It just wouldn't be proper. Do you really want to see me flirting with a legion of sluts?

Sorry...no....just can't do it.

Don't be too hasty. I had a great interview today.

I could soon have as many as seven people working right under me!

I don't eat fries, Skippy poo. Nor would I serve or cook them.

Be happy for me. I might actually make something of myself.

Do you really have a British Accent?

What is your sisters name?

No, but I fake one rather well, eh?

Why should I tell you?

Its decent, you sound sort of like John Cleese.

I already know her first name, its just a matter of time.

Ah, but I have two sisters.

Let it remain a mystery.

Movie of choice tonight "Heart Break Ridge"

Saw "Star Wars In Concert" tonight. Not as good as I'd hoped. Decent enough. Good orchestra, a few thick green lasers but nothing jaw-dropping, a few flame-pots... nothing that would make me skip the next TSO concert (which happens to be next week).

The video screen was nice, very sharp HD and it was good to see scenes from the first three films (meaning the REAL first three, starring Carrie Fisher and Harrison Ford and Mark Hamill). Apparently, they re-did those scenes specifically for this, because they have not yet HD-ed the whole films. But, frankly, I guess I'm a bit jaded 'cause I get to stare at a giant IMAX screen all day. The screen they were using was only slightly larger than a traditional movie screen. Again, don't get me wrong, the scenes looked great.

Anthony Daniels did a good job narrating. But he basically just stepped in after each orchestral movement to add some scripted lines which moved the story along.

The clips went back and forth a bit. They tried some unifying tactics of theme but it didn't work all that great sometimes, as you'd be watching a montage from the original film and suddenly would see Jar-Jar's ugly face. And they kept showing some scenes more than once (Leia in her metal bikini pointing the gun at the deck, Yoda levitating the X-Wing, Padme and Anakin rolling around in the grass in a puke-enducing romantic scene, etc.,.).

We were in the very first row of the upper ring, the lowest you could get for the cheapest tickets. Unfortunately, there were railings in our way. Fortunately, right below us were the more expensive seats, which were empty, so we hopped down a row. The theater was probably around half full, which seems to be common. Meaning, this will probably be the first and last time they do this, so catch it now if you're interested.

The props were decent. But I've seen a lot of it before in other places (Disney, museums, etc.,.) and, frankly, when it comes to sci-fi props, the closer you get to them the cheesier and more fake they look.

Wow.

Sounds like it was NOT worth 55 bucks.
