We love and support our players. We’re proud of you Patrick and Tyrann.@PatrickMahomes @Mathieu_Era https://t.co/JwL6p0vzP6

We, the NFL, condemn racism and the systematic oppression of Black People. We, the NFL, admit we were wrong for not listening to NFL players earlier and encourage all to speak out and peacefully protest. We, the NFL, believe Black Lives Matter. #InspireChange pic.twitter.com/ENWQP8A0sv

Time to find out just how incredibly thin-skinned a majority of our fanbase is.

you know it’s an election year when the democrats care about blacks.

The NFL would be wise to either keep the players in the locker rooms or. It even having the national anthem play before games. Still going to piss off millions of fans.

This is where sports can make a difference though, at least at the margins, and with young people who still listen to other perspectives.. But yeah, sadly some will abandon Pat simply for having a different opinion based on his own life experiences and influences. Just like many fans will unfortunately abandon Brees.

Don't care, just win on the field.

Anthem protests should be pretty entertaining with no fans in the stands...

Crowd shots have always been the goto method of avoiding what's going on on the field.

I think we are going to have fans in the stands this year. Things are starting to open up pretty quickly in a lot of areas around the country.

We are ants on the sidewalk and the both parties don’t know what else to do with their magnifying glasses.
