I've made some great strides in the past week. Trying to keep that going.

What type of job was she working that she felt "threatened" enough to quit?

Two new patients in our rehab spiked temps over the weekend. Neither here for respiratory issues from the hospital.

We've been screening admissions heavily and have not had COVID-19 in the facility so far.

I could be walking into a very fun time tomorrow.

It's about the stimulus money. It's profitable for a lot of people, especially considering a new proposal coming up that pays a shit ton.

Fucked up shit.

NO ONE SHOULD RESPOND TO THIS

She’s in hospitality sales. So a downturn no doubt but she’s been begrudgingly employed all of 9 months after a voluntary 5 year hiatus that nearly bankrupted them.

I do think it’s a forecasted HR nightmare, and potential FMLA type legislation hotspot we’re facing when companies open up and require people to come back in. My wife’s office in Chicago, which closed after 2 positive tests in March, has notified employees that they plan to reopen 5/4. She can’t wait but others are planning to refuse. We’re talking professionals. Going to be a shitshow trying to get people back in after the taste of working from home.

I've wondered about the whole FMLA angle.

Our first positive was last week admitted for renal failure, they just tested him as precaution and came back positive 3 days later , during those 3 days he wasn't in isolation , luckily nobody else got infected but now every nurse has to wear a mask all day. That patient developed bilat pneumonia few days later, he is doing well but he would probably not self isolate in the public so they are keeping him in hospital.
