He did want out. That's true. But you're leaving out an important component. Why did he want out. He wanted out because Pete could see that his best days were behind and was working the offense to carry him because Pete knew that Wilson was no longer able to carry the offense. Wilson couldn't handle that. He was in denial about the truth. So yeah, he wanted out. And Pete said, fine, you want out and that dumbass Paton is willing to pay a kings ransom for a washed up quarterback. Yeah, I can do that. Then I'll put in Geno Smith and never skip a beat. At this point in his career, Tater is a bottom 10 QB.

In one or the other of my leagues, I had Russ his last 3 years in Seattle because he was usually a pretty solid fantasy value but he had been getting worse.
His last year in Seattle he had a good TD to interception ratio, but his yards and TDs were only meh even with losing 3 or whatever games to a finger injury and great WRs.
Carroll had put him on a leash.
Presumably he would be better when healthy but nothing indicated he would be worth 50 mil a year after taking the leash off.
His first year in Denver was the first in many I didn't draft him. It's not division rivalry. I usually end up with a Charger or two. [Reply]
