The other issue is he likes playing man. To the point where he reportedly went rogue last year and was playing man when zone coverages were called and it led to busted plays. It made people think Ramsey was done in Jax last year. He can be a handful for a coaching staff.

Bottom line on Jalen Ramsey is this: I wouldn't do it. Reid & Veach may. If they do, it puts the pressure completely on Tyrann Mathieu, Frank Clark to make him a Team-first guy. That is a tall order.#Chiefs

Say what you want, but BB is the GOAT defensive coach and knows what he’s doing. It would be smart to attempt to mimic his pattern of success.
Even if you have to overpay to do so.
In recent years hes built from the back end and acquired some talent up front that played very well. Damn if I could only remember the defensive line coach who got credit for that. I swear in seeing that same play here in KC:-) [Reply]
