Nzoner's Game Room>Chris Jones is NOT ACTIVE for today’s game per Jesse Palmer...
DaFace 12:28 PM 01-12-2020
Well fuck.

Source tells me the same thing on #Chiefs DE Chris Jones, who was on the field less than an hour ago warming up under the watching eye of some Chiefs staffers.

Chiefs will go into this game down a big member of the defensive line. https://t.co/oaitZ2hLk0

Time for Saunders to step in and dominate.

Yeah he probably would’ve tore it a lot worse. The bottom line is His calf was not a hunter percent healthy before the fact. The stuff doesn’t happen in a vacuum. If he was able to go out and warm up today, there’s a decent chance he comes back in a week or two.

And Spagnuolo had this defense playing pretty well without Jones for a few games. And at that time we didn’t have Pennell or Suggs either. I think will be OK against the 14th ranked offense and the 29th ranked defense
I hear ya. I think what adds to the stress level is a week or two may not matter...
They're going top have to find other ways to generate pressure up the middle.

Welp this is Suggs' and Clark's time to shine. Beat the shit out of Watson!

I would imagine Suggs wont help much against running QBs like Watson, Jackson, Allen because hes 37 and slow

YOU IMAGINE WRONG.

HE'S SMART AND DISCIPLINED AND PHYSICAL. THAT'S HOW YOU REIGN IN THE RUNNING QB'S. MAINTAIN YOUR RUSH LANES AND CONTAINMENT. FUNNEL THEM BACK INTO OTHER PLAYERS.

From a blowout to a shootout.

Offense had better be in 2018 form for 4 quarters.

Andy said he "tweeked" it during practice, so he could have injured it playing basketball and made it worse at the end of practice. Petro and Andy can both be right. You have to read between the lines when it comes to coachspeak. Bottom line is we have to get the job done without Chris Jones. We have Patrick Mahomes, he will push the team over the finish line!

I feel ok. Every road will have some bumps. Put it into gear and win this game

Yip. This is not good. We need all of our horses out there. Crazy we had a bye week and still managed to lose one of our stars.

Shitty luck.

Chiefs losing Jones this week, Texans gaining Fuller and a healthier Watt.

I thought this was gonna be a lopsided game with Chiefs winning 34-17.

Still think the Chiefs are a better team and still think they’ll win, but it’ll be closer.

Thinking something like 31-27.
