Nzoner's Game Room>Chris Jones is NOT ACTIVE for today’s game per Jesse Palmer...
DaFace 12:28 PM 01-12-2020
Well fuck.

Source tells me the same thing on #Chiefs DE Chris Jones, who was on the field less than an hour ago warming up under the watching eye of some Chiefs staffers.

Chiefs will go into this game down a big member of the defensive line. https://t.co/oaitZ2hLk0

If he almost played today, it's tough to believe he wouldn't be able to go next week. You never know of course.

If we win its all good.

If we lose I'm gonna be pissed. Getting injured playing fucking basketball on the bye week is unacceptable. Somebody need to be fired for allowing this to even happen.

Might be much like last year. Need the offense to score 35 to win. We are now missing 2 of our 5 best players on defense. And Mo Claiborne who seems to be our 3rd beat corner when he ever plays. To expect this defense to be the same is wishful thinking. I still think Thornhill is a much bigger loss than Chris Jones though.

I think it means he's more likely to be ready, think there's a chance he makes it worse trying today.

I know that by analytics, the Texans are by far the worst team in the playoffs, and this should be a mismatch. But seeing them get healthy (Fuller, Watt) just as the Chiefs are suddenly without two of their best defensive players (Thornhill, Jones) has me appropriately terrified. https://t.co/r7rJ7abHXO

Why would he want to risk further injury right before his contact year? If anything the incentive for him is NOT to play

The video of him warming up in the other thread looks like he can’t push off with his right leg at all. Looks much worse then a one game issue.
